What makes the 33 especially impressive, is the high level of sincere devotion. This is shown in its determination to seek understanding and wisdom before preaching to others. We have at least 11 firm and fundamental instances in which this tragedy was carried out "by the numbers" just as any Illuminist would want, because they believe a good plan can fail unless it is carried out according to the correct numbers sacred to the Satanist.
